Office of the County Executive
Overview
The Harrison County Executive's Office was established in 1926 with the purpose to manage, inspect, and handle Harrison County. The office serves as a symbol for the establishment of Harrison County and it's government. The County Executive's Office headquarters is located in Jamestown inside the County Government building.
The current County Executive of Harrison County is ZoomMaarten and has been serving since his appointment.
Offices
The County Executive's Office consist of multiple smaller offices and positions that help in the management of Harrison County.
Chief of Staff
The Chief of Staff is responsible for the coordination, communication and leadership with internal offices to ensure smooth operation with all sectors.
Office of the Counsel
The Counsel Office is tasked with the responsibility of address legal concerns and issues that arise in a County Executive's term and assists them dealing with conflicts of interests, legislation and more.
Office of Communications
The Communications Office is responsible for the writing of press releases, speeches, and developing the agenda of the administration.
Office of Foreign Affairs
The Foreign Office's main responsibility is the assessment of foreign counties, nations, and groups to establish diplomacy within them.
Office of Commerce
The Office of Commerce's main duty is to handle businesses, properties, and their registration within Harrison County.
The Digital Office
The Digital Office's responsibility is to design and build accessible government and department websites while coordination with department leadership to upkeep said websites and provide consultation.
Office of the Historian
The Office of the Historian shall be responsible for the preservation and publication of government documentation and positions within Harrison County.
Office of the Statistician
The Office of the Statistician is tasked with the gathering of data and information in order to inform and store information within the branches of government or agencies.
