Overview
The Harrison County Post Office is the state-owned enterprise responsible for shipping and receiving mail between residents of Harrison County and other destinations.
Rank Structure
The County Post Office is made up of seven (7) positions:
- Postmaster (department head)
- Deputy Postmaster (deputy head)
- Manager (branch head)
- Supervisor (unit or squad head)
- Senior Postman (senior employee)
- Postman (employee)
- Postman Apprentice (trainee employee)
Employees begin as Postman Apprentices, undergoing training to become a Postman. From there, employees have numerous opportunities to climb the department career ladder.
