Overview

The Harrison County Post Office is the state-owned enterprise responsible for shipping and receiving mail between residents of Harrison County and other destinations.

Rank Structure

The County Post Office is made up of seven (7) positions:

  1. Postmaster (department head)
  2. Deputy Postmaster (deputy head)
  3. Manager (branch head)
  4. Supervisor (unit or squad head)
  5. Senior Postman (senior employee)
  6. Postman (employee)
  7. Postman Apprentice (trainee employee)

Employees begin as Postman Apprentices, undergoing training to become a Postman. From there, employees have numerous opportunities to climb the department career ladder.
