Harrison County Sheriff's Office
Overview
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is tasked with the overall protection and management of the county and it's surrounding townships.

Role
The role of the Harrison County Sheriff's Office is to provide protection and assistance to Harrison County and within it the townships, counties, areas, and more.
History
The Sheriff's Office was established as the second department to serve the county area when people started to populate said areas, it served alongside the Jamestown Police Department and the two have been working together since it's founding.
Bureaus
The Harrison County Sheriff's Office has four (4) bureau's within it's department.
Administrative Bureau
The Administrative Bureau is home to the Sheriff's Aide, Legal Counsel, Public Outreach, and Human Resources Officer, all of which besides the Sheriff's Aide is a Public Employee position.
Internal Affairs Bureau
The Internal Affairs Bureau contains the roles Bureau Command, Watch Commander, Supervisor Investigator, as well two Investigator positions.
Field Operations Bureau
The Field Operations Bureau has the Academy Unit, tasked with providing training and leading cadets, the Patrol Unit, responsible for the management and control of all regular patrol deputies, and the Reserve Unit which hosts deputies on reserve.
Special Operations & Investigations Bureau
The Special Operations & Investigations Bureau contains the Correctional Unit, who is responsible for the safe-keeping and guarding of prisoners, the Tactical Response Team which is able to provide support and assistance when needed. As well as the Criminal Investigative Divisions who's duties are to properly and thoroughly investigate criminals and citizens for any wrongdoing.
